The Details:

- Time: 10AM-3PM*
- *Extended day (9a-10a hand sewing, 3p-5p jewelry and room décor making class) available for $30 per hour and must be booked in advance.
- Lunch to be provided by parent/caregiver.

Who we are: The Fashion Class has been providing sewing and fashion design programs since 2010. What started in NYC has grown to four locations and counting!
- Camp runs weekly starting June 29th through August 28th 2026 from 10am-3pm!
- Extended day with extra creative classes (hand sewing, jewelry making, and room décor projects) available from 9am-5pm each week.
- Projects and lessons will change each week so campers can continue throughout the summer.
- Week ends with a fashion show!
What we do: To keep young minds engaged, each camp day will feature unique design and fashion lessons including the highlight of the day; sewing. During sewing class, fashion campers learn to use a sewing machine (complete with finger guards and speed control!) plus layout a pattern, measure and cut fabric. By the end of the week, campers will have created garments or accessories that they can take home and wear!
Plus, we go beyond the sewing machine with a big-picture introduction to fashion. Campers learn sewing skills along with illustration, merchandising, fashion history, the business of fashion, entrepreneurship, and some DIY! All lessons are age appropriate, easy to understand and hands on.
Our specialized curriculum—developed in partnership with pattern makers, illustrators, and educators over ten years—is designed around what works best for kids, including:
- Limited Class Size “Boutique” limited camp sizes of 12 students and 2 teachers ensure every kid gets the attention they deserve.
- Exceptional Teachers Our teachers combine real-world experience with specialized training and bring kindness and empathy along with energy and enthusiasm to the classroom.
- Safety First Covered blades on fabric scissors along with finger guards and speed control on all sewing machines ensure little hands are safe!

Breakdown of the Day:
- 9am-10am Extended day morning class: Hand sewing and Embroidery
- 10 - 11:30 am Sewing: Campers will sew real and wearable clothing on our Bernette sewing machines complete with extra safety features!
- 11:30 - 12:30 pm Lunch & Fashion Games
- 12:30-1:30 pm Fashion Illustration
- 1:30 - 3 pm Fashion Industry: Hands-on and age appropriate fashion lessons such as fashion history and fabric science!
- 3-5PM Extended day afternoon class: Accessory Design where campers make wearable jewelry and room décor.
All participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver form signed by a parent or guardian before attending any class, camp, or workshop.
Registration and Processing Fee: Our registration and processing fees, equal to 30% of the total cost for a course, camp, class, or workshop, are non-refundable. These fees help cover the costs of enrolling students and managing customer communication. However, they may be transferred if rescheduling occurs within the specified timeframe outlined below.
Membership:
- Our multi-week courses are available through a monthly membership that automatically renews throughout the school year. If you need to make changes or cancel, please provide at least 30 days’ notice before your next billing date.
- If cancellation is not requested prior to the end of a class session, your enrollment will carry over to the next season automatically and you will continue to be billed on a monthly basis.
- All members have access to unlimited makeup classes that DO rollover into the next season, so long as your membership is active.
Making Up a Missed Class:
- Currently enrolled students at The Fashion Class can enjoy unlimited make-up classes for any missed sessions within their registration season (Fall, Winter, Spring). To schedule a make-up session, please contact us to arrange a different class time.
- Please note: Make-up classes must be completed within the same season as the missed class. For example, if a class is missed during the Fall season, the make-up must be scheduled within that same Fall season.
- Make-up classes are offered as a courtesy and have no monetary value.
Rescheduling and Date Transfers:
All date changes are based on availability.
- Courses/Multi-Week Classes can be rescheduled with one week notice.
- One-Day Camps can be rescheduled with one week notice.
- Summer Camps/Weekly Camps can be rescheduled with three week's notice.
- Birthday Parties/Special Events can be rescheduled with three week's notice.
- One Day Lessons (Private Lessons/Sewing Playdates/Mommy and Me Lessons/Seasonal Workshops/Sip & Sew Events) can be rescheduled with 48 hour's notice.
Cancellations:
No-Shows: If your child does not attend a class, workshop, or camp without prior notice, the full fee will be forfeited. To avoid this, please inform us in advance if your child will be unable to attend.
- Week-Long and Summer Camp Registration Cancellation:
- 30 or more days before the camp start date: 70% refund
- 15-29 days before: 50% refund
- 2-14 days before: 25% refund
- Birthday Party & Special Event cancellations will result in the forfeiture of the $250 deposit.
- Registration Cancellation for all other offerings: (including Courses, Individual Classes, Workshops, One-Day Camps, Mommy and Me Lessons, and Playdates) If you need to cancel your registration, please notify us at least one week before the class start date. We will issue a refund, minus the 30% registration fee outlined above, within 10 business days.
- If we cancel due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund within 10 business days.
